The Drop Fund

helping startups move forward

The Drop Fund is a Fourge initiative that provides small, practical grants (£100–£500) to help early-stage businesses take their next step forward.

It exists for the moments that can make or break momentum, when a founder doesn’t need a huge investment; they just need a small drop of support to unlock progress.

What the grant can support

Drop Fund micro-grants are designed to cover practical, business-moving costs such as:

  • Packaging, labels, or product samples

  • Basic equipment or tools

  • Website domain/hosting, simple website support

  • Marketing assets (photos, flyers, basic design)

  • Stock/materials for your next sales cycle

  • Legal/admin essentials (where appropriate)

  • Travel costs for a pitch/event/trade opportunity (case by case)

(Final decisions depend on cohort priorities and available funding.)

Who it’s for

The Drop Fund is for:

  • Early-stage founders and micro-businesses

  • Underfunded entrepreneurs who are building with limited capital

  • Businesses that need one practical boost to move forward

  • Founders who can clearly explain what the drop will unlock

You don’t need to be perfect; you need to be progressing.

How it works

  1. Register your interest / apply

  2. We review applications based on need, clarity, and potential impact

  3. If selected, you’ll be asked to confirm how you’ll use the funds

  4. You receive your micro-grant and move your business forward

  5. You share a short update on what the drop made possible
